# Referral Leaderboard

The referral leaderboard serves as a means to reward players for actively recruiting new recruits to Big Time. By inviting players, the more in-game actions they perform, the greater the number of points you accumulate. Your eligibility for [**$BIGTIME**](https://wiki.bigtime.gg/big-time-economy/economy-components/resources/usdbigtime-tokens) rewards is then determined by your ranking on the **Referral Leaderboard**.

## Leaderboard Timeline

The Referral Leaderboard will commence and conclude simultaneously with the current $BIGTIME Leaderboard round. Moving forward, both leaderboards will always start and end at the same time.

**Start:  1/19/2024**

**End: 3/22/2024**

## Recruitment Window

To be classified as a "Valid Recruit," a player must be recruited after the commencement of the Leaderboard round (1/19/2024). Only Valid Recruits will have the ability to contribute points.

## How to Earn Points

Players can earn points based on the actions performed by their recruits. Actions undertaken directly by the player will not yield points for this leaderboard. Recruits can accumulate points for their recruiter through the following actions:

1. **Running Prestige Portals:** Low Points.
2. **Time Warden Action:** Medium Points.
3. **Armory/Forge Action:** High Points.

## Rewards

A total of **2.5m** [**$BIGTIME**](https://wiki.bigtime.gg/big-time-economy/economy-components/resources/usdbigtime-tokens) to be allocated for a max of **350 participants** as follows:

| ------------ | --------------- | ------------------------- |
| Tier 5       | 90,000          | 5                         |
| Tier 4       | 30,000          | 15                        |
| Tier 3       | 15,000          | 30                        |
| Tier 2       | 6,000           | 100                       |
| Tier 1       | 3,000           | 200                       |

The reward will be distributed in **16 airdrop waves**, similar to the method used for the [**$BIGTIME Leaderboard**](https://wiki.bigtime.gg/big-time-economy/airdrops/usdbigtime-preseason-leaderboard-airdrop).
